HELP US ONCE AGAIN PROTECT THE PINE NUT WILD HORSES
“Now, in this moment, the realization that our wild horses could become extinct due to the evil will of human beings tells me that being moral honest and compassionate is no longer of value.”
The wild horses are living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit. They represent freedom to roam, explore and run with the wind. Or are they the reason for the wind? I believe their strength and majesty cause the air to move creating the winds and breezes we enjoy thousands of miles away.
The “wild ones” we like to call them.
Pine Nut Wild Horse Advocates (PNWHA) has shined a light on the plight of our wild ones for over six years. Because of competition with ranchers for range land, the BLM rounds up these creatures from God and throws them into holding pens separated from family and their freedom, behind bars, languishing in pure hell until they die or, if lucky, are adopted.
PNWHA continues to do everything right to monitor the wild ones in the Pine Nut mountains of Northern Nevada. They document lineage through photographs, observations and scientific measurements of their daily behavior and migration. All this is done with a small group of volunteers.
PZP darting was being done effectively to control population, but in May of 2016 the BLM shut down their program because of an impending law suit.
ALL OF THIS REQUIRES MONEY
